17th Century Nautical Royal French Atlantic Compass

The geometric beauty of French compasses has a place of its own and we tried to replicate that 17th century engeneering in this design. A royal French compass would also be incomplete without the Fluer De Lis right at the apex of the design, marking due North. The compass became a popular icon during the Atlantic colonial sea faring era of European history, and continues to maintain its aesthetic appeal. Paint it on a piece of furniture like a coffee table or a dresser
